Meet the 7 Pot Brainstrain chile pepper! It's brain-like shape and it's gargantuan heat will have you mesmerized by this chile!
The Brainstrain 7 Pot was originally cultivated by David "Cappy" Cappiello of North Carolina. Legend has it he was sent land race Trinidad 7 pot strains and this was in the mix!
The Brainstrain 7 pot grows to around 4-5 feet tall into a very branchy, tree like structure. The pods are roughly 1.25" in diameter and are very abundant. This plant likes a bit more calcium and magnesium than your traditional chile plants due to it's aggressive fruiting nature.
The flavor of this chile is fruity but not overly sweet. It is easily one of the hottest peppers on the planet as you'll be able to see by its POOLS of capsaicin oil lining the walls. This chile pepper is NO JOKE. Handle with care.
Start these plants at least 2 months before your last frost date.
